The School of Imagine Ballet Theatre, is under the direction of Raymond Van Mason, Artistic Director and a former Principal Artist with Ballet West for 17 years. He has a BFA in Ballet from the U of U. Classes offered include Movement-In-Music, Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, Pointe, Partnering and Ballet Classes. Dancers also have the opportunity to audition for the performing company "Imagine Ballet Theatre". Dancers who have trained with IBT have received ballet scholarships from the University of Utah, summer intensive scholarships with American Ballet Theatre in NYC, NYC Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Washington Ballet and more. Dancers receive training in technique from professional dancers including dancers from Ballet West, RDT, former Broadway Dancers. IBT offers a summer dance intensive for dancers of all levels - audition required to be accepted. The School of Imagine Ballet Theatre offers pre-professional training and performing experience.
